چکیده
Background: Rifampicin resistant tuberculosis is a serious problem faced by control in China, and rapid detection of rifampicin resistance urgently needed. Objectives: This study aimed to describe the molecular characteristics frequency RNA polymerase β subunit (rpoB) gene mutations rifampicin-resistant (RR-TB) Anqing area. Methods: The rpoB fragment was amplified chain reaction (PCR), all isolates were sequenced for gene. obtained comparing sequencing results with MUBII database. In addition, logistic regression used analyze relationship between (RIF) resistance. Results: There 152 males 42 females this study, mean age 56.60 ± 17.91 years. Mutations risk factor (β = 5.271, P < 0.001 OR 195.192). Among 19 RR-TB strains, 16 (84.21%) had ropB gene, three (1.71%) 175 rifampicin-sensitive strains mutated. mutation sites five (31.58%) at codon 526 531. However, there two 513 533 (15.79%), (10.53%) double mutations. Conclusions: area are complex, can be as an indicator screen drug RIF.

Novel mutation detection IN rpoB OF rifampicin-resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis using pyrosequencing.
Tuberculosis (TB) remains a major global public health problem particularly severe in parts of Asia and Africa, where often it is present in HIV-AIDS patients. Although rifampicin-resistant (RIFr) TB is slow to emerge due to the low rate of mutation of its target leading to RIFE being a marker of TB that is already resistant to other anti-TB drugs, and such cases are prone to treatment failure....
متن کاملMutations in rpoB gene of rifampicin resistant clinical isolates of Mycobacterium tuberculosis in Japan.
In Mycobacterium tuberculosis, involvement of alterations of the RNA polymerase beta subunit in resistance to rifampicin has been described by Telenti et al. To determine if the same correlation could be observed between the mutation of the rpoB gene and clinically isolated M. tuberculosis of the rifampicin-resistant phenotype in Japan, 47 strains of M. tuberculosis of the rifampicin-resistant ...
متن کاملMutations in the rpoB gene of rifampicin-resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis strains isolated in Brazil and France.
We evaluated the mutations in a 193bp of the rpoB gene by automated sequencing of rifampicin (RMP)-resistant and susceptible Mycobacterium tuberculosis strains isolated from Brazil (25 strains) and France (37 strains). In RMP-resistant strains, mutations were identified in 100% (16/16) from France and 89% (16/18) from Brazil. No mutation was detected in the 28 RMP-susceptible strains. Among RMP...
متن کاملMutation in the rpoB gene of the rifampicin resistant M. avium complex strains from Thailand.
Forms of mutation never before described in the rpoB gene are reported for a sample of 20 rifampicin-resistant Mycobacterium avium Complex (MAC) strains isolated from AIDS patients in Thailand. All strains were analyzed by polymerase chain reaction-single strand conformation polymorphism (PCR-SSCP) and polymerase chain reaction-DNA sequencing (PCR-DNA sequencing). Sequence analysis of these str...
متن کاملMutations in the RpoB Gene of Multidrug-Resistant Mycobacterium Tuberculosis Isolates from Semarang, Indonesia
ABSTRACTTuberculosis is an infectious disease which occurs widely in the world and becomes one of the top 10 causes of death worldwide. Mutations of the RpoB gene cause the resistance of Mycobacterium tuberculosis to rifampicin that contributes to the occurrence of MDR-TB. This study aimed to determine the pattern of rpoB gene polymorphisms in the MDR M. tuberculosis in Semarang, Indonesia. Mos...
